Soorah al-Faatihah is the opening chapter of the Book of Allaah. We have been ordered in Allaah’s Legislation to recite this soorah in every rak’ah of salaah we pray. Due to the significance of this soorah in our lives, it is upon every Muslim to know the explanation of this illustrious soorah. In a three-part series conducted last Ramadaan (2011), our beloved teacher, Abul-’Abbaas Moosaa Richardson went through the explanation of Soorah al-Faatihah, based on the works of ash-Shaykh, al-’Allaamah, Muhammad ibn Saalih al-’Uthaymeen, rahimahullaah. Listen, may Allaah have mercy upon you, so you can learn the explanation of this great soorah and then spread the knowledge. Remember you recite it in every prayer, its worth understanding insha’Allaah!
