Our noble brother Abu ‘AbdurRahmaan ‘Ali al-Filistinee (May Allaah preserve him), Imaam of Masjid Ibn ‘Abbaas, Tobago delivered an in depth critique into the credentials and a few concepts of Anwar al-Awlaki thekharijee. These sessions were delivered to an attentive audience at Masjid ul Khaleefah, Longdenville, Trinidad. The lectures were done over a series of three sessions over a period of 3 consecutive weeks and merely scratched the surface of the deviance propagated by Anwar al-Awlaki, but it was sufficient to totally discredit this individual and his deceptive manhaj (methodology).

The focus of these lectures were to firstly destroy the so called credentials of this individual who attempted to fool the people into believing that he studied with great scholars of our time and spent time in the circles of knowledge in Saudi and Yemen, the same countries that he attack and encourage others to attack, May Allaah preserve the muslim rulers of these countries and rectify their affairs.

If anyone, pure of heart and with a sound mind and intellect hears this excellent, knowledge based critique, and still defends this individual, Anwar al-Awlaki and his misguided methodology, then then they truly have been barred from the haqq by Allaah, due to a perversion in their heart. We ask Allaah to guide us and those who have fallen victim the elequoent speech of this caller to deviation.
