On the authority of Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) is that among the sayings he relates from his Lord (may He be glorified) is that He said:

O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another. O My servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance of Me and I shall guide you. O My servants, all of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so seek food of Me and I shall feed you. O My servants, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing of Me and I shall clothe you. O My servants, you sin by night and by day, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness of Me and I shall forgive you. O My servants, you will not attain harming Me so as to harm Me, and will not attain benefiting Me so as to benefit Me. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as pious as the most pious heart of any one man of you, that would not increase My kingdom in anything. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of any one man of you, that would not decrease My kingdom in anything. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to rise up in one place and make a request of Me, and were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not decrease what I have, any more that a needle decreases the sea if put into it. O My servants, it is but your deeds that I reckon up for you and then recompense you for, so let him who finds good, praise Allah, and let him who finds other than that, blame no one but himself.

Whoever hides sincere advice from the Muslims has acted deceitfully towards them :

It is not permissible to hide sincere advice from any of the Muslims, whether pious or impious, in matters of the religion. Whoever hides that has acted deceitfully towards the Muslims. Whoever acts deceitfully towards the Muslims has done so towards the religion. Whoever acts deceitfully towards the religion has behaved treacherously towards Allah, His Messenger and the Believers [1].

Foot Notes :

[1] Tameem ad-Daaree narrates: The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “The religion is sincerity.”  Upon this, we (the companions) asked, “To whom?” He (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) replied, “To Allah, His Book, His Messenger and to the leaders of the Muslims and their common folk.” Reported by Muslim (Eng. trans. 1/37/no.98).

Splitting into Groups and Sects – Explanation of Masaa’il al-Jaahiliyyah [Class 05 Audio] – Moosa Richardson [English]

Published on 6 Nov 2012 by troidca

The second aspect (of the Era of Jaahiliyyah):

They split up in their religion, as Allaah, the Most High, has said (what means): ( Each sect rejoicing with that they had ) [30:32]. Similar were their worldly affairs. They believed that to be the correct way.

So He legislated unity in the Religion with His Statement (that means): ( He legislated from the Religion what He prescribed for Nooh (Noah), what was revealed to you, and what was prescribed for Ibraaheem (Abraham), Moosaa (Moses), and ‘Eesaa (Jesus): that you establish the Religion and do not split up within it. ) [42:12]

And He, the Most High, has said (what means): ( Verily those who split up their religion and became sects, you have nothing whatsoever to do with them. ) [6:159] He also prohibited us from imitating them, with His Statement (which means): ( Do not be like those who split up and differed after the clear proofs came to them. ) [3:105] He also forbade us from splitting up in worldly matters with His Statement (that means): ( Hold tight to the rope of Allaah, all of you together, and do not be divided. ) [3:103]

[Must Listen] A Warning to the World Regarding the Magician of al-Maghrib Institute and His Call to Kufr – Moosa Richardson [Audio|En]

An excerpt from our ongoing class Explanation of Masaa’il al-Jaahiliyyah Class 04, in which our brother Abul-’Abbaas Moosaa Richardson clarifies the reality of the individual “Kamal al Mekki” and his dangerous call to kufr via promotion of illusionary magic under the guise of it being a part of the “fiqh of daw’ah”.

May Allah protect the Muslims, ameen.

Even illusionary magic can be considered disbelief in Allah :

Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan, may Allaah preserve him, says in his book, Duroos fee Sharh Nawaaqidh al-Islam (p.146-147):

Jundub ibn Ka’b, the Companion, killed a magician in the presence of one of the governors of Banee Umayyah. He came and found the magician playing games in front of the governor, pretending to kill a person and then bring him back to life by cutting off his head and then replacing it. This is a kind of illusionary magic. He was trying to convince the people that he was killing him and then putting his head back upon his shoulders. He did not actually do anything, he was only tricking the people with an illusion. So Jundub went up to him and struck him with his sword until he chopped his head off, and said, “If he was truthful, then let him bring himself back to life.”

Translator’s note: Ibn ‘Abdil-Barr (may Allaah have Mercy on him) mentioned that the governor was al-Waleed ibn ‘Uqbah (may Allaah be pleased with him), and that he arrested Jundub for this action and wrote to the khaleefah ‘Uthmaan ibn ‘Affaan (may Allaah be pleased with him) about what happened. ‘Uthmaan then ordered him to be released and he was. (Alistee’aab, p.113)

Shaykh Ibn Baaz (well-known scholar, may Allaah have mercy on him):

“…All of their magic is kufr, whether it is done through Satanic acts that harm the people, or through illusions…”

Kamal el-Mekki (Almaghrib Institute’s magician, may Allaah guide him):

“…What’s haraam is sorcery, yeah? So, if you go to a magician’s show, they’re just doing illusions on stage, there’s nothing haraam (impermissible) about that…”

Very important article:

In it, Kamal el-Mekki openly says that he can teach you ALL the magic tricks of Criss Angel and Dynamo (two of the most popular illusional magicians of today).

Muslims be warned!

Don’t hate the people who warn you of evil, instead put your hatred in its right place, hate kufr and the people who spread it for the sake of Allaah alone.  Without doing that, you shall be deprived of the taste of the sweetness of eemaan!

Please help spread this important message to as many people as you can!  May Allaah reward you generously.
