Bismillaah wa -Alhamdulillaah wa Salaatu wa Salaam ‘alaa Rasulillaah ‘amma ba’d

Muwahhideen Publications facilitated a LIVE question and answer session for the sisters of Trinidad & Tobago with our teacher, the muhaddith (scholar of hadeeth) Ash-Shaykh Abu ‘Abdullaah ‘Uthmaan ibn ‘Abdullaah as-Saalimee (May Allaah Preserve Him), one of the major scholars of Yemen. This is part of Masjid ulKhaleefah’s Sisters’ Camp 2012, “The Journey of The Muslimah: Her Life, Her Death and Hereafter.”

This was a special sitting via telelink organized for the sisters at Masjid ul Khaleefah, Longdenville, Trinidad. The Shaykh began by giving a short naseehah (advice) to the sisters, that is of course pertinant to the brothers as well. He addressed the sisters by mentioning  the ayah 35 in Soorah-tul Ahzab in reference to those who obey Allaah and His Messenger (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), and the Shaykh praised the women who are properly covered by observing the proper hijab, and those who guard their chastity and private parts, as Allaah praised in this verse, mentioning the reward that Allaah has prepared for them. Then Shaykhanna ‘Uthmaan (hafidhahullaah) mentioned the bounty of Ramadhaan and the great rewards that await in this month, from them is the forgiveness of sins from Allaah. Then he admonished the muslims to learn the ahkam(rulings) of fasting and specifically the women in the affair of menses etc. and he mentioned some examples.

May Allaah Al-Aleem cause us to benefit and alleviate our ignorance through sound knowldege. May Allaahgive us knowledge that benefits and protect us from knowledge that does not benefit.
