~ The Reality of Revolution/”The Arab Spring” in Light of The Quraan and Sunnah – Shaykh ‘Adil as-Sayyid [Audio|Ar-En]
Bismillaah wa -Alhumdulillaah wa Salaatu wa Salaam ‘alaa Rasulullaah ‘amma ba’d
The Noble Shaykh ‘Adil as-Sayyid (May Allaah Preserve Him), from the mashayikh of Egypt, delivered a beautiful LIVE Telelink Lecture with Muwahhideen Publications. The Shaykh brought some of the reasons for oppressive rulers over the muslimeen as a punishment or test from Allaah, then he expounds on the method of change that begins with the society first in order to deserve better rulers and/or Governments.
Beginning with Tunisia, Libya, Egypt and now Syria, the Muslim lands have become riddled with the fitnah of revolution, an adopted method of change that has never been part of Islaam. This disease has become a pandemic in the hearts and minds of the Muslimeen, who have resorted to demonstrations, protests and revolting against the Muslim ruler, all of which are impermissible according to the pristine shari’ah (Islaamiclegislation). Many have been fooled into the illusion of change through these so called “democratic” methods, that are not even tolerated in the west. The affairs attached to this sickness of revolution which was introduced into Islaam by the early deviant groups, such as the khawarij (those who seperated from the sahabah and revolted against the 3rd Caliph of Islaam, ‘Uthmaan ibn Affan, may Allaah be pleased with him), have now become the accepted way amongst the Muslims, and undoubtedly benefits none but the enemies of Islaam. May Allaah rectify the Muslim lands from this disease and return us all to the Quraan and Sunnah upon the understanding of the righteous predecessors. Shaykh ‘Adil as-Sayyid (May Allaah preserve him), who is in the middle of this calamity in Egypt and who has defended the position of Ahl Sunnah (The People of Sunnah) clarified this very important issue to us on Wednesday 9th May, 2012 at inshaaAllaah ta’alaa.

For Masjid ul Khaleefah Sister’s Camp 2012, “The Journey of The Muslimah: Her Life, Her Death and Hereafter,” Muwahhideen Publications has organized a LIVE telelink lecture with the noble Shaykh ‘Adil as-Sayyid (May Allaah Preserve Him), from the mashayikh of Egypt. The Shaykh is very highly recommended by Shaykh Hasan ibn Abdul-Wahhab al-Banna (May Allaah preserve him) and was referred by him as a mufassir (explainer of The Quraan using the science of tafseer).

The Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “I looked at paradise and found poor people forming the majority of its inhabitants; and I looked at Hell and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were women.“ (Bukhari). This is further explained in another hadeeth in saheeh al-Bukhariwhere he (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “They are ungrateful to their companions (husbands) and ungrateful for good treatment. If you are kind to one of them for a lifetime then she sees one (undesirable) thing in you, she will say, ‘I have never had anything good from you.’” This hadeeth is very often misunderstood by the muslimeen with weak eeman and no firmly grounded fundamentals. Many times it is misquoted by the enemies of Islaam in their feeble attempts to attack and degrade the social and moral fiber of this beautiful, complete and perfect religion. It is also very unfortunate that even so-called muslim contemporary scholars, modernists and orientalists have wrongly interpreted and explained this narration, in such a way as to add fuel to the enemies of Islaam. Our Shaykh , the mufassir (explainer of the Quraan) will expound on this narration, bringing forth the correct explainations within the framework of theQuraan and Sunnah upon the understanding of the salaf us saalih (righteous predecessors). inshaaAllaah ta’alaa.
